Thomas A. Horan, Ph.D. is Dean of the School of Business & Society, University of Redlands and Visiting Scholar, Humphrey School of Public Affairs, University of Minnesota. He has led a series of industry cluster studies with the University of Minnesota’s Transportation Policy and Economic Competitiveness Program (TPEC). Dr. Horan has published more than 200 articles and three books. He has consulted with numerous public and private organizations, including the US Department of Transportation, United Nations Economic Development Corporation, and Mayo Healthcare. Dr Horan’s GIS research accomplishments have been honored on two occasions by the White House. Dr. Horan received his BA (magna cum laude, Phi Beta Kappa) from the University of Vermont and his MA and PhD from Claremont Graduate University.
