Rep. Bjorn Olson was elected to the Minnesota House of Representatives (District 22A) in 2020. Now in his second term, he serves as Speaker Pro Tempore. He is the Co-Vice Chair of the Veterans and Military Affairs Division, as well as a member of the Transportation Finance and Policy Committee, Children and Families Finance and Policy Committee, and Legacy Finance Committee.
Rep. Olson is a Major in the United States Army Reserve and recently served overseas as the Executive of a Combat Sustainment Support Battalion. He is a former educator, teaching middle school history at Blue Earth Area Schools for eight years. He is also an independent farmer, cultivating over 200 acres of land within his district. Rep. Olson is a father, husband, and a man of faith.
